HTC Facebook Phones: First Press Shots

HTC is indeed preparing a pair of Android handsets with dedicated Facebook buttons, and they are pictured above and below. While no specs were available, it is clear from the images that one is a QWERTY candybar a la the Motorola Droid Pro, while the other is a more traditional touchscreen slate.

According to reports first circulated by British financial publication City A.M. -- which also tipped the Google Nexus S -- these models are running modified versions of Android, although the not-yet-announced Sense seems to be running on the slate, streaming Facebook updates directly to the clock widget. According to a BGR report, people who have focus grouped the phones say that they have minimal storage and always-on GPS radios, and that the cameras upload images directly to Facebook.

We're expecting more details at HTC's MWC press conference tomorrow.
