The LG Optimus 2X is currently the only smartphone offering 1080p video capture but based on the fine print it looks as if the Motorola Atrix 4G won’t be far behind depending on how long Moto takes to update the Atrix once it’s out. The Optimus 2X and Atrix 4G are the first two smartphones to offer dual-core processors and the ability to offer 1080p video capture.
The Atrix 4G is expected to hit retail shelves the end of February and will be the smartphone to beat when it arrives at least for a while. Sporting a dual core processor, higher res display and accessory barrage the Atrix 4G will be one of a kind and get a chance for its full 15 minutes of fame.
