Lance Ulanoff of PC Magazine has gotten the chance to talk with vice president and director of Windows Phone program management, Joe Belfiore. Lance and Belfiore talk about the Microsoft vision for mobile phones, how some Kin leftovers might cross over to 7, and what Microsoft has learned from Apple's iPhone 4 and Android's rapid growth. Microsoft has a lot of work to do to reverse the bad press they're getting from Galen Gruman's scathing opinions published on InfoWorld. This interview looks like a step in the right direction; emphasizing all of the good things about Windows Phone 7, although it does not really reveal anything new.
