Blackberry Curve Touch Image And Specs Leak Online

The Blackberry Curve Touch is expected to release in late 2011 or early 2012, but an image and specs have already leaked.

CrackBerry has gotten its hands on details and an image of the Blackberry Curve Touch. What sets this entrant in the Curve line apart from others is the fact that it will be he first one to lack a physical keyboard. The Curve line is still considered an entry level line of handsets for Research In Motion (RIM), the company behind the BlackBerry phones.

The BlackBerry Curve Touch specs won’t set the world on fire, but here’s what they include:

Processor: Qualcomm MSM 8655 800MHz CPU
Radio: CDMA – EvDo Rev A
Display: 3.25″ 480×360 HVGA
Navigation: Trackpad & Nav Keys
Keypad: Virtual QWERTY
Camera: 5 MP (with HD Video recording)
Memory: 1GB Flash + 512MB RAM, Hot Swap MicroSD slot
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
GPS: Autonomous & A-GPS
Connectivity: NFC, Micro USB, Bluetooth 2.1
Sensors: Ambient Light Sensor, accelerometer
As we said, this is considered an entry level BlackBerry, albeit the top of that line. It’s a good bridge between those who like the phones, but want to try out a touchscreen, and for those who are used to phones without keyboards that wants to move over to the RIM phones.

We have no information on pricing or an exact release date, but if it looks like one you want, you definitely have a wait ahead of you.

What say you? Any interest in the BlackBerry Curve Touch?
