Nokia N8 Benchmark is much faster



May 23 — The N8 Benchmark of Nokia is its first Symbian device. The phone has a hardware graphics accelarator as it is in Omnia HD, Vivaz and Satio.

In Nokia N8 an application is designed called Speedy Go!. This application improves the performance of Symbian based phones. It comes with speed utility test and it can be compared to the performances with other devices.

From the comparison it was found that the unaccelerated phone speed of N8 is 54% greater than the Omnia HD and it was also proved that it was greater by 180% to the N97 of Nokia.

One more thing worth noting down of N8. Based on the graphics, the phone pushes 32 million triangles on paper where as the iPhone 3GS of Apple pushes only 28 million. Nexus One pushes 22 million and Motorola Droid at 7 million.

Apart from all these, the other attractive features of N8 is that it has 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The phone has a Xenon flash and also a sensor that compact digital cameras have. One can make HD-quality videos with this phone and also edit the videos with built-in editing suite. N8 has a Dolby Digital Plus surround after it is plugged into home theatre system.

With N8 one can also access the Web TV services along with the local Web TV content from the Ovi Store. Social networking sites feature is also enabled in it so that user can be in touch with all friends on their go.
