Microsoft's Silverlight plugin and app development engine, one major component of the company's Windows Phone 7 platform, is now ready for Symbian users to download and install. Symbian S60 users can download the plugin through Nokia's app store, called the Ovi Store. The engine will also allow apps developed using Silverlight to run on the platform; Microsoft has a Bing app available for users to try out and demo.
Another key feature of Silverlight is that it will stream video smoothly and adapt video quality depending on your bandwidth and network speed, which is a good feature for mobile users.
