FireFox Home App Now Available For The iPhone / iPod Touch
Here's a little free App that was recently approved in the App Store and is now available for download. FireFox Home works through FireFox sync and allows you to view the last Tabs and History you had open in FireFox. The Tabs feature is kind of cool if you were reading a specific article of interest, had to leave your computer for any reason, and want to continue reading the article in your iPhone. The History feature comes in handy if you'd like to re visit an article of interest that you saw two days ago on your PC and want to access it through your iPhone. No, sadly you're not getting Fennec or any sort of FireFox Mobile on your iPhone just yet, but this is a nice way to start.
According to the Mozilla Blog, to get things working you need to:
1. Install Firefox Sync, a free add-on for Firefox, on your desktop
2. Restart Firefox and follow prompts to create an account with both a password and a secret phrase
3. Go the App Store on your iPhone and search for "Firefox Home" or install it directly from iTunes
4. Launch Firefox Home on your iPhone. You'll be prompted to enter your Firefox Sync account info. Enter your username, password and Secret Phrase and tap "Done."
5. Enjoy!
And here's the iTunes Link for your download.
